At Garbo’s hair, we’re using hair for the force of good. That’s why we’re taking responsibility, it’s time for a hair revolution.
We are working with Matter of Trust to help clean polluted water and divert useful fibres from the waste stream. We do this by donating the hair that usually ends up in the bin. As you can imagine, we have a lot!
The hair is sorted into stockpiles of length and then used to produce felted mats. These felted mats stack up petrochemicals in the storm drains, wells, filtration systems, rivers, oceans…
